Technical Sergeant Sean K. Mesina serves as the Operations Flight Chief and Training
Instuctor for Detachment 835, University of North Texas, Denton, Texas. TSgt Mesina
is the key enlisted advisor to the Detachment Commander and works directly with the
Operations Flight Commander and the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCOIC), Administrative
Management in executing its entire portfolio and cadet objectives.
TSgt Mesina enlisted in 2013 and served as a 2G0X1 Logistics Planner “Loggie” at Moody
AFB, GA for five years as the installation Support Agreement Manager and NCOIC, Deployments.
In 2018, he cross-trained into the 5R0X1 Religious Affairs Airmen career field and
served at Shaw AFB, SC as the NCOIC, Plans & Programs and NCOIC, Training. His most
recent assignment, he served as the Manager, Personnel & Readiness and the Headquarters
Air Force Functional Area Manager at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
