Major Paul Frisinger is the Operations Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace
Studies at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 835, University of
North Texas, in Denton, Texas. He is responsible for detachment operations to include
cadet personnel actions, administration management, host and crosstown university
collaboration, as well as recruiting, motivating, and educating Air Force officer
candidates.
Major Frisinger received his commission via Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB,
Alabama in 2004 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from
the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Developmental Engineer and has supported
various U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and joint systems including the F-22 aircraft,
spacecraft cryocooler subsystems, missile-warning infrared satellite systems, the
F135 turbine engine (F-35 aircraft engine), the next-generation Adaptive Engine Transition
Program, and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense weapon system. Major Frisinger
also served previously as an instructor at AFROTC Detachment 847, Angelo State University,
in San Angelo, Texas.
