Technical Sergeant Fabio M. Deavers serves as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC), Personnel for Detachment 835, University of North Texas, Denton, TX. He is responsible for all of the administrative processes for the assigned Air Force officer candidates. TSgt Deavers works directly with the Detachment Commander and Operations Officer managing all cadet personnel actions and maintaining AFROTC standards. He is also responsible for the direction and supervision of all in-processing, contracting, and commissioning efforts of all cadets.
Sergeant Deavers grew up in Viernheim, Germany. He enlisted in the Air Force and graduated Basic Military Training at Lackland AFB, Texas in 2012. Upon graduating technical school, he arrived in the vehicle operations career field at Ramstein Airbase, Germany from 2013-2016 working as a vehicle operator/dispatcher. In 2018, he retrained into the Personnel career field and served as the NCOIC of enlisted and officer promotions at the 509th Force Support Squadron, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. During his time at Ramstein Airbase and Whiteman Air Force Base, Sergeant Deavers deployed to Morón Airbase, Spain and Al Dhafra Airbase, United Arab Emirates.
