Detachment 835 is one of the premier Air Force ROTC units in the country which is located on the campus of the University of North Texas. The following schools participate in the Air Force ROTC program at the University of North Texas: Texas Woman's University, Midwestern State University, Collin College, Southern Methodist University, University of Texas at Dallas, North Central Texas College, University of Dallas, and Paul Quinn College.
